Aaron G for Model Number KBFS25EVMS00 The (interior) water dispenser on my refrigerator started having a very slow drip about a week ago. Hardly noticeable until overnight when there is a small puddle on the floor in front of the frig on the side where the dispenser is. I can put a towel under the dispenser nozzle and come back a few hours later and find it is wet. I suspect either the filter is bad or the fill inlet valve. Filter was last replaced in mid-December 2012. But from what I have read on the internet, seems I should be having much bigger problems if the fill inlet valve is broken. Right now I've taken out the filter and am using the filter bypass plug and am seeing if I still get a drip. Am I on the right track? Also, I've noticed the filter is supposed to be changed every 6 months, but the change filter light on the refrigerator only comes on every 12 months. What's up with that?
Answer Aaron, This will most likely be caused by a seeping water valve on the unit and the water valve would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 22, 2013
