Cody for Model Number Whirlpool GS6NBEXRL01 I have replaced the ice maker machine and wire harness. Still not getting water. The water dispenser works. Have blown through the hose and it is clear. I have shorted across the machine in the t and h hole. Machine does not rotate. I have voltage at the v hole on the machine. I unhooked the wires on the inlet valve and switched them over and pushed the water dispenser button and no water dispensed into the ice tray. Do I need to replace the inlet valve?
Answer Hello Cody, If you are getting power to the water valve but it is not letting water in the the water valve is faulty. Also check the emitter board for proper operation. The emitter board is located on the wall of freezer and has a flashing light when door is open. If you push on the flapper and the light continues to flash then the board is defective and would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 18, 2013
