Chris for Model Number GB2FHDXWS06 I believe the water valve on my ice maker is faulty as there is water going to the valve and the ice maker itself is cycling (with the arm in the down position the teeth will go up and down) but I am getting no ice. I also do not hear water "coming" into the fridge. Is there a way to confirm the valve is the problem? Thanks. Chris
Answer Chris, At the water valve you will want to check to see if there is 120 vac when the icemaker calls for water. If there is power then the water valve is faulty. If there is no power then the icemaker would be the issue even though it cycles, the water circuit part of the icemaker would faulty. Read More...
