Dan C. for Model Number ED25DQXAB00 I came into the house and found water running out of the freezer. Apparantly the ice maker fill valve stuck in the open position, or perhaps just did not close completely. I shut off the water to the icemaker and the flow stopped. If I replace the water valve will that fix this?
Answer Hello Dan. Check and make sure the icemaker is not stuck in the fill mode. If it is sending voltage to the water valve, then you will need to replace the icemaker 4317943. If not you will need to replace the water valve 4318046. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
