Stu for Model Number ED22TQ Our ice maker is working but very little water goes into the tray. Is there something frozen in the lines? How would I defrost it? Or do I need a new water inlet valve? Is that something I can replace myself? Or is there some other problem?
Answer Hello Stu. Low water pressure could have a few causes on your unit. First, you will want to check for frozen water lines on the back of the freezer. A hair dryer can be used to thaw any build up. You may also want to ensure you are getting full pressure from the water source. If these two things check out, you would need to test your water valve itself. This can be done with a multi meter MA-DM1. I will include a link in this message detailing how to test various parts with a meter. I hope this info helps! http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
