Troy for Model Number ED2GHGXMQ00 I recently had movers ship my fridge to my 2nd house. Upon arrival, a part was left at the bottom of the box - Invensys N-86. When I hooked up my water line to the fridge, water sprayed everywhere. I've done a little searching and have found that the part I have is a solenoid (sp?) but don't know how to hook it back up inside my fridge. Model number: ED2GHGXMQ00 Help!!! :) Thanks in advance, most appreciated.
Answer Hello Troy. Based on the model number you provided, W10408179 is the correct water valeve. You will need to press in on the compression fittings and pull the water lines out to remove the water lines from the valve. Then you will press them into the new valve until the lock into place.
