Lady for Model Number kenmore refer. part # for inlet valve 2188542 How hard is it to replace the inlet valve ? Where the water line hook on to the part, it looks like it's screwed on. Do you know if it screws on or if I will have to cut it off? Thanks lady
Answer Hi Lady. The inlet valve is a easy part change. The hoses are different sizes so they only hook up one way. You can use the hoses and couplers supplied to extend the hoses if need be. Most of the time you do not need to. If they are long enough, use the half size connectors to slide onto the old hoses and they will compress onto the valve while you snug them on.
