Answer Hi. look at the fill tube where it hooks into the back of the cabinet . It has to be flush and a tight seal against the cabinet or it will drip moisture build-up and eventually keep freezing the fill tube. Since you say the supply hoses are not kinked and the supply pressure is very strong (at least 30-120 psi.) then the water will fill during ice maker command and not shut off. This water pressure works both ways and needs to fully open the valve as well as hold it completely shut. Flush out the supply hose as you will look into the bucket to See if there is any sediment incoming from the water. If there is any debris, then this is why the water valve keeps partially open and back fills the fill tube. Inspect the fill tube and see if the inner folds are ripped or damaged so it can not seal. Look at the inside of the fill tube / cabinet area. Is there any bulging of the cabinet insulation interferes withe the fill tube configuration as it passes through the cabinet. You should see only white on the inside of the cabinet at the tube circumference. If you see any insulation interference, you need to remove the fill tube and clear out the insulation carefully until it is clear and the fill tube passes smoothly. The fill tube rotates counter clockwise approx. 30° and then pulls out. You will see the inner fill tube seal and the back of the thin metal of the cabinet. All has to be flush as the cabinet cannot be wavy so the sealing cannot take effect. Since you already replaced the water valve, then you need to consider the ice maker part WPW10190965, because it commands the water fill amount. Thank You. Read More...
