Jeff for Model Number ED5CHQXKQ00 We have a reverse osmosis water that we have hooked up to the ice maker and drinking water to this frig. The water froze in the fill tube the first time we hooked it up and now will not fill the ice tray. What can cause this? Also the water comes out of the water tap very slowly and trickles for a few seconds after you you stop filling a glass. Are these related?
Answer Hello Jeff. Yes, you can not run a reverse osmosis water supply to the refrigerator. It needs a constant 25 psi water pressure at a minimum to operate correctly. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, April 28, 2011
