How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP2802384 / 00165262 Check Valve

Putting in the new backflow valve did not fix the problem although the old one looked bad. Next, put in a new drain pump. This fixed the problem. Videos of repair procedures were of great assistance. Parts were a perfect match. 

Watched your video, order the part that was recommended, installed it as done in the video, and it worked! 

Following the directions from your video made it simple to do. 

Replaced pump after watching video. Video was very helpful and repair was relatively easy. 

Replaced drain pump and check valve 

Replaced the valve, although it looks easy in the video, which it mostly is, removing the hose behind the valve was not easy as it was very stiff and it took a few minutes to persuade it off. For a DIY, I would suggest a little warmth with a hair dryer should work in softening that hose, just don’t overdo it. Otherwise straightforward R&R. 

The drain pump tested fine and the unit was draining at the end of each cycle. But the water would end up in the base between cycles Replaced the water inlet valve. 

I researched YouTube and found the make and model of my dishwasher with an accurate description of my problem and ordered the new parts. The order was tried through some other online vendors and none were as accurate and priced accordingly.
