How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP7193108 / 10023852 Water Inlet Valve

Found video via Google search. Purchased part and fixed the next day! Saved $325 from a service call. 

Replaced the Water Inlet Value assembly. 

Watched the video showing how easy the fix was. Ordered the part. Replaced the part. Washing dishes in less than 48 hours from initial diagnosis! 

Vacuumed up the water pouring out from underneath and onto our cement flours--thanking ourselves for not having hardwood or other floor covering. Pulled the dishwasher out from its spot in the cupboards, listened to some Youtube videos, located the leak, then went to AppliancePartsPros.com. input our model number and started looking at the schematics to find the right part, ordered it, sat back, and hoped we had the right thing. Part of what bothered us was that the part, the inlet valve, was inexpensive. It was the correct part so we installed it with the help of another Youtube video. Then we ran it on Heavy wash and Sterilize. Since then it has been working like a dream. Thank you, AppliancePartsPros! You are a boon to homeowners who are resisting the "buy insurance for fixing on your new appliance" extortion racket occurring nowadays in the US. 

We replaced the water inlet valve. 

I searched youtube videos and finally found "Steve - The Mediocre Maintenance Man". He described the same problem we were having and explained that we would need to find the leak. It took us a while to find the leak but when we finally did we found your video on how to replace the part. 

If your washer works, and then doesn't, and water is building up in the pan under the tub, and no other leaks can be detected: take a flashlight and look at the fill valve in the back left corner. Mine had a super-slow drip due to a leak in the valve that would trip the float switch, but only once every 4 weeks or so. So frustrating! Anyway, after googling the part, I found AppliancePartsPros.com had a video with a swap-out that was super easy, and the part I ordered even showed up the next day (I'm in Illinois). The link for the part in the YouTube comment section was really useful. I sound like they're paying me--they're not. They just saved me a ton of money because, after a year or two of this off-and-on nonsense, I was seriously looking at new dishwashers. Instead, this was a $27 fix, including shipping. Took about 15 minutes. Well done, folks. Seriously easy. 

At first, I needed to find out what the E15 error code meant. After doing a search and learning what it meant, I removed the front of the dishwasher to examine the water situation. The basin was full, and I saw water across the whole base. As I looked more closely, I could see a steady drip from the valve assembly. I knew I could find the name of the valve on AppliancePartsPros.com along with a video on how to replace it. I felt confident I could order the valve and replace it. I also ordered the fill hose to be safe. I thought the likelihood that the hose would not be reusable would be high. Replacing the valve and hose took longer than the demonstration in the video, but it was my first time doing it, so I wasn't surprised. After replacing the valve and hose, the dishwasher has been used several times, and my problem has not come back. 

.Ordered OEM Bosch replacement parts. Called a service company to complete the repair. 

When I pulled out the dishwasher and removed the bottom panels I could see watered pooled. Thankful the dishwasher safety mechanism worked! I dried everything up and then turned on to watch where the water came from. Quickly identified it was the inlet valve. Ordered and delivered with no issues and installation was pretty simple too. I didn’t end up needing the extra tubing I ordered but glad to have it on hand.
