How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP7193108 / 10023852 Water Inlet Valve

Ordered and replaced the valve. Took about 20 minutes to save my 5 year old $1200 Bosch dishwasher. 

Ordered replacement part and installed it myself. 

I ordered a replacement valve and installed it. No problems with the actual repair, but sliding my dishwasher out from under the counter turned out to be a nightmare. It seems the folks who installed my wood floor decided to end the flooring a few inches past the front of the dishwasher. When I tried to pull it out, its back support got caught on the ends of the flooring and eventually came off. It took a lot of effort and some salty language, but I finally got it to slide out. After that everything went well. My best advice is to watch the how-to videos carefully (your video on removing the front panel was great), keep calm, and be prepared for the unexpected. 

The water inlet valve was cracked. I could see it dripping from under the dishwasher with it pulled out halfway from the counter. I thought I would need to have a repairman fix it, but after watching the video I was confident that it was a DIY job. The video made it easy!

I watched YouTube videos to find the problem. I found the small leak and have searched the part number by manufacturer parts number. I came across with website AppliancePartsPros com where was a video how to replace the broken part. I just followed the directions and fixed the dishwasher. The cost of the part is 17$ + overnight shipping +tax =53$. I'm very satisfied with the part that I got. Thank you all. Bobur A. 

Ordered a new Water Inlet Valve. I first watched the video on this site, which is very helpful. I actually was able to change the valve using a few less steps than the video instructions. Shut the power off, shut the water off, remove the screws holding the dishwasher in place. Pull the dishwasher out, I did not disconnect the water hose from under the sink, I did not disconnect the white hose from the outside of the dishwasher. Disconnect the water feed on the Water Inlet Hose, I was able to have enough room to pass the old Water Inlet Valve into the machine and disconnect the hose from the Water Inlet Valve. It certainly helps resting the dishwasher on a block of wood ( maybe two blocks of wood if you have room) Then do everything in reverse. Run a short cycle on the dishwasher and recheck for any leaks. Done! The most difficult part is removing the white hose. Use a flat head screwdriver the break the seal. Next time I will order a new hose because it is easier to just cut it off and replace it with a new hose. 

First of all, we paid a repairman $85 to diagnose the problem. But the cost for him to actually repair it was an additional $315. So we said no to the price and the part he said needed to be replaced. (Water Inlet Valve) we purchased it for only $25 from Appliance Parts Pros. Then we watched the video on their website which was very clear and quite simple to do. I called after installing the part thinking I needed to reset the dishwasher as the display window for blank (with the door closed). I called your helpline. Tracy was great and spent time with me. In the end, we realized no reset was needed. The display only displays when the door is open. Thanks Tracy. 

I replaced the inlet valve and a fill hose and dried up the water in the pan. The error was resolved and the dishwasher runs normally. 

Ordered a new fill valve from AppliancePartsPros.com and replaced it by following the video they provided. Easy fix and very happy!
