How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP4927070 / 00622058 Water Inlet Valve

New part installed and problem is now GONE! 

Ordered the needed part from APP, and installed it my self. 

Replaced the water inlet valve. Simple. ApplianceParts Pros was very helpful in helping me to determine the problem and sold me the correct part I needed.I received the part promptly and at a fair price. These guys are great, highly recommend them. S

Had repairman come over and take a look. At first he said the motor was bad. NOT! Not enough water entering pump to properly wash dishes. It turned out that the supply valve, being ~20 yrs old needed to be replaced. (it wouldn't isolate the dishwasher supply) Did that. Took off the supply valve to the dishwasher and found pieces of debris within the valve that was not allowing the solenoid to properly open or close the valve. I attempted to use the old adapter with the new valve but found that it caused about a 3 drop per minute leak. Bought a new adapter, used pipe dope to attach to new valve, VOILA, no leaks! Now I have a functioning dishwasher (Bosch), and a very happy wife and daughter. 

Living in Boston with 100" of snow and counting. Repairman came and told me I needed a new water valve -- but that it would cost $250 for him to come back, which wouldn't be for about a month because his company was so backed up with all the snow. I asked him if I could fix it myself. He was nice enough to tell me what part to order ($35) and told me to watch a video. I ordered one at appliancepartspro, which arrived in less than 24 hours (which I thought was pretty impressive considering our weather) and watched the video on the site. While the repair required some patience and attention to detail, I did it get it done and the dishwasher is up and running again. 

Water inlet valve was not flowing enough water - only a trickle. Easy part to replace. Up and running great now. 

Watched the video on your website which gave me a idea on the repair even though it was pretty obvious. Ordered the part , it arrived 3 days later. Installed and my dishwasher has worked perfect ever since. I am sure I saved 100 plus dollars by buying from you and doing the repair myself versus the repairman! Thanks
