How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP4927070 / 00622058 Water Inlet Valve

I followed the videos provided on the website. It was pretty easy to do, disconnecting the power and undoing the wires to pull out the dishwasher. I replaced both the Inlet Valve and Spray Arm. It took 2hrs. Everything is now running perfectly. I bought a water pump and heater from AppliancePartsPros.com years ago and those still are working perfectly to this day. 

I ordered a new fill valve from AppliancePartsPros.com on 5-9-20223 at about 12:15 PM, they stated it would be shipped the same day. on 5-10-2022 at approximately 11am Fed Ex delivered it to my door. Less than 24 hours, pretty darn good service. less than an hour after starting the repair, it was done... 

I looked on the ApplianceParstPros.com site and entered my dishwasher model number. The exploded views of the appliance on your site made it easy to find the valve. Got the part in about 3-4 days of ordering it. The video was a great help in the removal and replacing the valve. 

I purchased a new control panel for my Bosch dishwasher and installed it. Kudos to the staff.. I ordered the part on-line, received a confirmation email and 3 days later the part was here. They kept me informed via email during the whole process.. I’ve ordered here before and had the same Great service. Will be ordering here again I’m sure ?? 

Changed the Water Inlet Valve and Turbidity Sensor. The repair seems to have fixed the problem, but we haven't given the dishwasher a test with a full load. The turbidity sensor is a bit hard to get to, but a simple process if you follow the video. You need a star (torque) bit for the screws and I suggest you document which screws go where because there are several different sizes. The water Inlet valve is a super simple repair, especially if you're doing the Turbidity Sensor at the same time. 

Pulled dishwasher out halfway, repaired and replaced. 

Sourced the problem on You Tube and this site. The suggested repair was to replace the water inlet valve. The part arrived from Appliance Parts Pros the day after I ordered it! The repair was straightforward and took less than half an hour (I am somewhat handy and had the tools etc I needed at home). The dishwasher runs perfectly now! Thanks Appliance Parts Pros for helping me fix this problem fast on the first try. 

Replaced the water inlet valve. I had a problem trying to take off the brass elbow joint off of the old valve. I had to buy a pipe wrench to hold the piece while I got it off with the other wrench. After installation, I checked and it was dripping slowly. I took everything apart again, and applied more wraps of the plumbers teflon tape to the brass fitting, I reinstalled it and it did the trick. All is working again! 

I noticed that there was water in the bottom of the dishwasher tub. Eventually it became clear that it was clean supply water, rather than dirty water that had failed to drain out. Web searching led me to this part. It was quite easy to change it out, thanks to the very helpful video. I did have a small leak after and had to change where I had seated the hose clamp, which was easy, but a reminder that it's important to check for leaks before closing everything up again. 

Replaced water supply valve. It was very simple. The water supply 90 degree brass connector took a little muscle to loosen, but even with that, I exchanged the part in under 10 minutes.
