How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP2131582 / 3204401 Agitator

Removed broken agitator and installed new one. Whole job took less than a minute.

I ordered the parts for my 20 year old washing machine. They arrived in a rural area in 2 days. Very impressive. My husband fixed the agitator hub and put the new agitator on and now I don't have to buy a new one. Yeah. They provide a specific video to the repair which we did watch and I could have done the repair except for the elbow grease that was needed to pry off the old hub. Ordered agitator -wasn't the problem- with help from support found that needed agitator hub. Mine was broken and stuck in agitator. Received it installed in 5 min. problem solved. Returning agitator Had trouble removing agitator. I didn't realize that the bolt the cap screws into also screws into the transmission. As the broken hub was stuck in the agitator I had to remove it to remove the agitator. 

Well, I needed the nut that went inside the agitator. It was worn down but I ended up buying both pieces. The shipping was amazing! It shipped the same day I ordered and the parts arrived in about a day. 

Replaced the agitator.
