How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3687338 / 240396002 Frigidaire Refrigerator Water Filter Base

The real story is, I talked to 3 different appliance (national) repair services and no one could find the parts because my Frig was over 8 years old and they said they couldn't find that model in their system. I was out of country and had new vacation renters who just arrived to find water all over. I went on the net and found my parts using the same model # on your web site. You sent them the next day, and a neighbor installed them using the video you provided with the order. Again you saved me from a nightmare. Way too easy. Thank you, Thank you !!! 

I replaced the water filter base with a new one. I watched the repair video and simply followed the steps and it was very easy to do. My fridge is now making ice and providing water again as it should be. It's very nice to have these videos to refer to!

Searched internet for problems with filter not staying in place for my model refrigerator. Found replacing worn out water filter base fixed problem for others. Found part and instruction video on appliancepartspros. Ordered part and replaced per instruction video. Relatively easy, just removing some screws and plastic covers to get to the part. My water filter now stays locked in place and works perfectly. Instruction video perfectly detailed for the part and refrigerator.

Ordered the replacement part from appliancepartpros.com and watched the video to learn how to replace. The part came in two days but I had to travel for work so my wife fixed it! Said it took longer to gather up the tools than to replace, thanks to the great video. Thanks for helping us to save time and money by showing us how to do this ourselves! 

First, I watched the AppliancePartsPros.com repair video on how to replace the water filter base. I then just did exactly what the video showed. It was a very easy fix.
