First you have to remove the housing. Took me a few minutes to realize that there's a screw that's underneath the cover of the light (it just lifts up). Remove the screw & pull the housing out. Next remove the 4 screws from the existing water filter base. The hardest part for me was pulling the water lines from the existing base. The water filter base that I ordered had come apart during shipping, so I had to put it back together, making sure that the step down part was in the right direction & that there was one of the 2 springs on either side of the latch. Once it was put back together, you just reattach the water lines (the base is marked in & out), put the 4 screws back in, put the housing back on & put that screw back in (which I kept dropping lol) & voila!! The filter stayed in & I now have water & ice again!
