How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3891780 / 134743500 Washer Motor Control Board

Replaced the motor control board 

Ran diagnostics check. Tested motor coils, ordered new motor control board. Followed video to replace. Washer passed diagnostics and washing clothes again.

I downloaded some manuals for the washer from Frigidaire.com. By following the trouble shooting suggestions I determined the Motor(speed) Control Board was bad. I saw that there was a video available and watched it. I then ordered the board which arrived on Friday ahead of scheduled delivery. I watched the video again on Sunday and installed it. Then ran a wash cycle to see if any other problems occurred; none showed and the washer is working fine. 

Ordered the part mid afternoon on Monday and it arrived Fed ex the next morning. Complete repair took about an hour. Used a cordless drill with a nut driver to help speed the process. The repair video was most helpful. The hardest part was moving the washer to gain access to the back panel. I have the matching dryer stacked on top. Tip: when removing the motor to access the control board be aware the motor is quite heavy. If was quite pleased that my washer was spinning and agitating as designed when I pluged it back in and ran a test load. 

The information on your site was invaluable and the "How To Repair" video was outstanding. Very surprised at how quickly the board arrived- FAST! I'm no appliance tech but following your video was easy and the job went smoothly. Washer back up and doing fine. My Boss, "She Who Must Be Obeyed," ;-) thanks you and I thank you! The video helped tremendously! The hardest part was reattaching the drum belt at the end. Just do the exact opposite of how you took it off and it will go right on! 

Ordered the board from you guys, and repaired it ourselves.
