After checking to make sure the drum and motor spun freely, I decided to change the motor control board. It was fairly easy, after unplugging the washer and turning off and disconnecting the water supply, I removed a few screws to take off the back of the washer. On my model it wasn't the whole back panel, but a large hatch opening with RAZOR SHARP EDGES that cut my hands and wrists like a razor blade. I didn't even know I was cut until I saw the blood, so be sure to DUCT TAPE THE EDGES before reaching in to work. I located the motor control board, which on my model was on the lower right side. After removing one screw and disconnecting four groups of wires, I realized it wasn't going to come out without removing the motor, which was just three screws and the belt. After that I just attached the four groups of wires, screwed it back in place and reattached the motor, belt and back cover. After cleaning up the blood I reconnected the water and power, did a test load and it worked perfectly.
