How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6333303 / 297235200 Electronic Control

Replaced control board freezer went back to cooling. 

Replaced the electronic cointrol. Works great!! 

Called and spoke with a trouble shooter, she told me the suspected problem was a motherboard. She took my order for a replacement. It took mere minutes too replace and now my wife is happier. 

Removing the face plate from the freezer was a huge pain in the butt. Once it was off getting the old circuit board out was just as much of a pain. Once it was out, snapping the new one back in and putting the face plate back on was simple. It fixed the issue with the freezer and saved me from having to go out to buy a brand new one. 

Replaced the Electronic Control. (the display/graphics are no longer available) 

We ordered a new Elec Control panel. Watched the video. The display is no longer included. Snap out the display on the front of the old control. Add the display to the new control. I turned the power off at the breaker so didn't need to pull the freezer out. Works great, like I said the display goes back in tight, even without the tabs. 10-minute job. 

I replaced the Electronical Control with the new board. Most of the time was due to having to use the original trim (mounting piece) 

1st I defrosted the freezer. 2- removed the inside panel. 3- turned the freezer back on and saw that the condenser was not defrosting ice was building up. 4- Searching through YouTube and found info that the defrost heater was not working. for Frigidaire, the heater control is in the Control/Electrical Panel. I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com and removed the faulty one and whole! the freezer works great. The tool I used was a 2" wide Putty knife 

I had to order the exact same Control three years ago-----It came in complete---Just pop the old control off and put the new one in-----You have changed---You send the sensor panel---I had to take the old sensor panel out and pray I did not break any of the 4 posts that hold the sensor panel into the outer Plastic Panel. Takes longer and more caution, But I was able to complete it and snapped the control back into the door. You need to send this control panel out ready to take off the old and pop in the new. 

Took off control board on the front of the freezer and ordered one through AppliancePartsPros.com When received put the new one in and it started working.
