How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5318915 / 297370600 User Control Board

Repair tech came out to repair freezer. He found the problem, said we could save some money on another house call and do it ourselves. He gave us the part number, Appliance Parts Pros phone number, ordered the part and fixed the freezer ourselves. Part received in timely manner. Extremely simple to fix. 

Replaced it! 

Used live chat and explained nothing worked on freezer and display on control board was not legible. Representative sent me a link for replacement control board and that's what it was. 

Replaced the module in the door with a new one. 

Ordered a new part from you all.

A not so obvious smell of burnt plastic from the control board gave the clue away. 

I ordered a new control board. it arrived in 2 days. it took about 30 seconds to remove the old one and install the new one. so far it is working excellent. i'm a happy camper!!!!
