How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5318915 / 297370600 User Control Board

Replaced all the drip pans. 

Ordered the ECU for a 13 year old Frigidaire upright freezer on a Thursday morning, received the part by Friday afternoon. Removed the bad ECU and replaced with new, took about 30 seconds. Freezer is working like new. 

Changed out the control board. 

Replaced the Control Board 

Replaced the User Control Board. 

Lost half the power coming from the meter box to our house. When the power company fixed that, nobody looked at the freezer until the next day. It wasn’t running and the display was looking strange. Called a local repair company and they said it could possibly just be the board in the control panel was fried, because of the power. Ordered the Control Board, and pulled the old one out with my fingernails. It came in while I was on the road. My wife just slide the new one back into the slot and plugged it back in and it started running. 

Ordered the part for the front of the freezer. 

Ordered a new control board, received in two days, replaced control board. all is well, thank you

I went on line with the model number looking for the cubic feet of the freezer. I was going to do research ordering a new freezer but I needed to know how big the current freezer was.
