How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4433236 / 316489403 Gas Range Oven Igniter

Removed old igniter and ordered a new one. Was very easy 

The Frigidaire Professional series oven/stove is several years old and was taking up to 45 minutes to preheat the oven to 350 degrees. The problem could have been caused by several items not working properly. I decided to replace the oven probe, lower oven igniter and the lower burner. Following the how to videos from Appliance Parts Pros, I was able to replace all three items within an hour or so. I have limited knowledge with appliances but this was a snap with the aid of the videos and saved me several hundred dollars in repair bills. The videos were easy to understand without a lot of technical jargon. Thanks to Appliance Parts Pros. 

Ordered a replacement. 

Followed the appliance parts pros video. Overall easy to replace the igniter. The only glitch was undoing the existing connector but using a small screwdriver I was able to pry up the locking tab. 

Replaced igniter. Product was perfect match. Doing the job was a pain. Couldn’t get to the connector and was about ready to dismantle the entire back of the stove when I read online to pull out the drawer and access it from underneath. None of the videos show or mention that. After that, it was pretty easy. Oven heated right up and no more gas smell. 

Replaced ignitor.

Doing online research, determined ignitor was the problem. Ordered new part and it came as quickly as told. Since part is fragile, was very well packaged. Installation was a breeze and oven works well again 

Oven wouldn't ignite. After ordering the oven bake ignitor from appliancepartspros.com and watching the video for the easy 15 minutes fix. Oven works like brand new.
