How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4433236 / 316489403 Gas Range Oven Igniter

Replaced the igniter 

Got the right part, installed it. it was a relatively simple fix. 

I watched the video on AppliancePartsPros.com and figured this was an easy enough fix for me to do on my own. With my range's serial number, I was able to correctly order the part I needed. A hint that might save some grief is to make sure you order the correct ignitor for your oven or broiler. They are basically the same, but the oven ignitor wires are longer than the broiler wires on my range. The repair only took about 15 to 20 minutes and was very simple and only required a flat head screwdriver and a hex-head driver. 

Replaced the oven igniter. Didn't even need to pull the oven away from the wall. The igniter plugged in behind the bottom storage drawer. The whole repair took only 25 minutes which included some cleaning time. My friends at Appliance Parts Pros come through again! 

A very simple fix took about half-hour. 

With the help of a friend, youtube and you. 

1) Removed the bottom cover pieces inside the oven. 2) Loosened old igniter and unplugged it underneath. 4) Plugged in new igniter and mounted it. 5) Put the pieces back on. 

Replaced the Ignitor. 

Replaced igniter.
