How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5807223 / 5304495520 Range Control Board

Use a multimeter to check voltage to your heating element, if it isn't 240v when bake is on, its probably the relay on this board. 

Replaced 

FOUND APPLIANCE PARTS ONLINE - PART WITH SHIPPING WAS $305 - ORDERED ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON - PART ARRIVED NEXT DAY BEFORE NOON. PART INCLUDED A SURGE PROTECTOR AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. i DO WISH THAT SOME SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS HAD BEEN INCLUDED. I DID NOT REALIZE THAT THERE WAS A PLASTIC FACE THAT HAD TO GO OVER THE FRONT OF THE PANEL. IHAD TO PEEL THE ONE OFF OF THE OLD PART AND I MADE SOME PLACES TRYING TO PEEL IT OFF. I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A NEW ONE IF IT WAS AVAIABLE. PRETTY GOOD REPAIR OVER ALL. CERTAINLY QUICK SERVICE. PRETTY DIFFICULT FOR 80 YEAR OLD MAN WITH NO HELP. WOULD HAVE PAID FOR INSTRUCTIONS 

Replaced the controller board 

Purchasing new part 

Troubleshoot to eliminate temp sensor and elements. Bad Control Board. Replaced easy peasy 

Tested the sensor and it was dead in spec; looked at control board and there was a large sooty streak on the back. Relatively easy install but be aware that when you remove the old board, what you see on the front is the overlay (a separate $40 item!) The old overlay can be pried loose with a long thin screrwdriver and patience, as it is just stuck on with adhesive which will work with re-use. You have to be careful, though, to be sure ONLY to pry off the overlay - if you pry the second layer loose you will be prying up the flexible circuit board you can see in the picture of the control panel if you blow it up, and then you will have to pry the flexible circuit board from the overlay, twice the work. Otherwise this is 14 screws and a few electrical plugs. 

Replaced the EOC board. The service from your company was excellent however your choice in shipping companies was disappointing. I paid for the fast delivery but FedEx stalled the package at their facility for 3days. I found this unacceptable. Thank you. 

Ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com (love that double-checks before you buy the feature!). Boy howdy! They did get here FAST!! Made repairs in under 30 minutes and everything worked again. No more error codes of incessant beeping! Thanks, guys!! Now to tackle that inlet valve issue on my washer!! 

First, I watched a video that showed how easy it is to swap out a control board. I found the part I needed on the Appliance PartsPros website. They made it very easy by having photos of the front and rear of the part. I ordered the part. FedEx delivered it to my home in 2 days. The installation was very simple. Best part, when I turned on the breaker the stove worked again. Just in time to bake Christmas cookies!
