How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5807223 / 5304495520 Range Control Board

I watched the video and tutorial and followed the instructions. This wasn't my first time utilizing appliance parts pros. When you find an outstanding parts and training site its a given you will return. I'm a extremely satisfied customer, the repair not only saved me money but made me the hero to my family. Replaced control board and switch membrane. Quick and painless with immediate results. 

Replaced oven control board and the board overlay.....works great now ,took about 30 -60 minutes. Part was exact replacement and shipping was very fast. very happy 

Ordered the KIT and overlay parts for our Frigidaire appliance and it seems to have made the difference. Once each part was removed and replaced the stove is back to NORMAL. Customer service was outstanding, along with the prices for each part.

I'm a 56 yr. old female with disability in one of my hands but is was so easy due to instructions that I wish I had called ApplianceParts first but I will forever recommend them for every thing they supply parts for...After calling manufacturer and researching web for days I changed the thermostat as was told by troubleshooting info from another repair forum instructed it was a fairly cheap part so I thought it was worth a try but no dice still the same thing. I went back to web and found ApplianceParts and called the person on the phone told me with knowledge that only two things control the problem I was having. The thermostat was the first thing and control board the second thing I ordered part and 30 minutes later my oven was working again. 

One of the plugs on the EOC was burned and melted. Ordered a new EOC, overlay and wiring harness. Replaced the EOC and the overlay, then replaced only the plug that melted and the wires connected to that plug. Worked beautifully when done. I did call the support folks to make sure what I was doing made sense and they agreed it should work. Very knowledgeable and friendly people. 

Placed the order late Sunday night and received the new part before noon on Tuesday. It was an exact match. I completed the work myself in about 10 minutes. The YouTube videos and printed instructions (w/ HD color pictures) were extremely helpful. Save me a good amount of money that would have been spent on a service call from a tech. We have about 40 professionals in our office that are in the process of being selling their homes and relocating to another one of our companies office out of state. Ok...so Thanksgiving dinner was on the line. A few seconds after pulling the turkey out of the oven, the temp ran away and shot to 600 degrees. Thank goodness all of the food was done. The oven shut down after I saw sparke falling out of the vent below the control panel and smoke comming out. I found out later that is was a transistor on the circut board burning and those were ashes...not sparks burning. 15 min on line and the part was ordered. It shipped the next day and I had it by saturday morning. One screw driver and one nut driver and 30 minutes of my time had my oven working like brand new. 

Troubleshot the problem to the control board relays not functioning correctly. Replaced the control board and this fixed the problem.
