How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4368739 / 137032600 Inlet Thermal Fuse

Looked up what I needed based on the code that was flashing. Preserved the parts that this site recommended and looked at the videos to install. A hour and half later the job was completed and back to normal. Very easy to complete with some knowledge how to work on it. 

Replaced the heater coil thermostat and thermistor 

Replaced with new one. 

Quick and easy. Pop off the top, pop off the back two screws hold the thermal limiter fuse onto the dryer vent pipe. 

I replaced the heater element. I also replaced the high-limit thermostat and the inlet thermal fuse because my dryer is a older model and I wanted everything replaced that has to do with regulating the heat. I also put a new drive belt on. 

Replaced the heating element, thermostat and fuse. Just covered all the items since I was in there. Several you tube videos on how to replace these parts. I found it easiest to access it from removing the front. 

Exchanged heater and thermostat infuse without issue. Working great. 

Googled the error to verify heating element had failed. I bought a cheap unbranded one approximately 6 months earlier online which failed. I learned a valuable lesson, buy genuine parts! I decided to replace the element, thermostat and fuse and replace them all this time because my dryer is in a small narrow room, which makes it difficult to work on. I don't want to have to take this thing apart again in that cramped space. Appliance Parts Plus is an awesome company! They expedited the shipment to get the parts to me ahead of schedule. Great job! 

Replaced the heat element fixed the problem hopefully this will last 

I replace the heating element, and did both switches as well, while in there. 2 coils were open.
