Lisa T Atlanta , GA January 10, 2017 Buttons were unresponsive including the one turned on the frigidaires oven I bought a replacement membrane for my Frigidaire oven from AppliancePartsPros and installed it myself. I could not believe how easy the fix was. When I had the same problem 2 years ago, I hired a professional to fix it for 3x the amount of money. That said, I do believe the problem of the membrane going bad is a design flaw with the Frigidaire ovens/parts, and I anticipate that I will need to replace the part again in a few years. Karen F Gloucester , MA September 19, 2016 Frigidaire panel buttons wouldn't work anymore I replaced the membrane that I purchased at AppliancePartsPros. It was Easy Peasy! Seriously. Unplug the stove from the electrical outlet. Then I just had to unscrew about 20 screws to release the membrane from the panel and the controller board. Then I the new membrane in and screwed it back in along with the controller board. Last step was to attach the two ribbon cables. I used to work with electronics, so I remembered that I had to open the clips on the connectors to slide the ribbon cable in and then snap the clips back. Once I did this I put the back plate on and plugged the stove back in. I heard a beep, reset the clock and tested the over and voila it worked perfect. Doing this installation myself saved me a LOT of money too ! Very happy with the results. This all took me about 30 minutes. Bruce G Palm Bay , FL August 14, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Gas Range FPGF3081KFB Buttons on membrane no longer worked I replaced the old membrane with pn 316549105. There were a couple pieces I had to figure out, like finding the two screws hidden in front that held the pannel cover on how to get the ribbon cables free from the circuit boar (the sockets are very delicate). A quarter inch nut driver and stubby Philips is all you need. I did not even unplug the wiring on the back of the circuit board. For $100 more I could have gotten the circuit board included, but I figure it was the membrane that was failing as they don't last that long. Mike H Idaho Falls , ID November 02, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Gas Range FPGF3081KFA Cancel button worked 2% of the time bake button worked about 50% of the time Based on stories shared on this site, I decided to order the part and do the repair myself to save Money. It is a very straightforward repair. The only real trick is two phillips screws along the bottom at the far right and left of the front that keep the membrane in place. You need a short-handled screw driver to access those. The rest is very easy. You'll just be removing a lot of screws and putting them back when you are done. The whole project took less than an hour. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers

Beth W Shorewood , WI October 02, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Gas Range FPGF3081KFC Some of the functions like "cancel" weren't responding to touch I contacted AppliancePartsPros, who verified my guess that the membrane needed replacing, and they supplied me with the exact part number I needed. I ordered the part on a weekend, and it was here the following Monday - wow. I am pretty handy but certainly not a regular at these kinds of repairs, so it took me longer than others are reporting, but I'm happy to say it all worked out and the range is now working as good as new.
