David P Naples , NY November 26, 2021 Blown motor Really my daughter should have a commercial dryer with the 10 people overloading the unit - but she wanted it fixed. The repairs went very well, and the video on appliancespartsPro did come in handy as it helped me with the job and confirmed that I was working correctly. The motor came quickly and I did the repairs immediately - thank you for a quick delivery and good advice. Highly recommended. Read More... Rich T Ames , IA July 17, 2020 Appliance: Frigidaire Dryer LEQ332DS0 Dryer would hum when started but drum would not turn. As many others mention on this site, I turned the start knob and it made a hum, but the drum never started turning. The problem was the motor. The dryer was 13 years old. I've never taken apart a dryer before, but the video was very helpful and I had no problem disassembling and reassembling everything. I replaced the motor and the dryer started right up as expected. I did have to buy a 7/8 inch long socket to disconnect the blower wheel. It was fairly inexpensive and any well-known hardware store should carry one. Read More... Harry H Palmer , AK May 13, 2020 Appliance: Frigidaire Frg(V0) / Dryer FSE447GHS0 Motor was froze up, would not turn I replaced the motor and belt. It turned out to be pretty straight forward and easy to do. When I ran into a snag, I watched a couple YouTube clips which explained every step very well. It took longer to clean all the lint and dust from around the drum and inside the cabinet than it did to replace the motor. Read More... Dan K Newfoundland , PA March 31, 2020 Appliance: Kenmore Dryer 41782042101 Loud noise from motor bearings After replacing the main drum bearing and still having this loud noise after warm up, I disconnected the belt from the drive motor and the noise remained. Placing an order for a new motor with the added cost for one day delivery, the motor did arrive the next day. I watched the very instructive video on motor replacement with the hint that the fan was attached to the motor with a Left hand thread. Removal and installation too less than 10 minutes. The complete re-assembly of the dryer and placement back into position was accomplished in under 30 minutes. This supplier will ALWAYS be my first choice for replacement parts. Read More... Gerardo R Brownsville , TX March 24, 2020 Appliance: Frigidaire Frigidaire/Gas Dryer GLGR341AS4 Loud humming noise Ordered new motor and installed it fairly easy following instructional video instructions. The changing of the motor was easy, took advantage and cleaned the dryer of all cloth lint. Also replaced dryer belt and bearing kit at same time. Repair was fast and dryer is still making loud rattling noise. Will check for any loose bolts. Dryer is working fine and drying clothes, just the rattling sound. Will update later to see what the cause was. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
Jody M Hot Springs , AR March 20, 2020 Appliance: Frigidaire Frigidaire/Electric Dryer LEQ2152ES0 Loud noise. The dryer was making a terrible noise and it’s only been 3 yrs since I replaced the bearing on the back of the tub. So I thought it was the motor. Installed new motor. It is still making the noise, so I’m going to replace the bearing again. It really wasn’t too hard to replace the motor, just took a little time since I don’t work on appliances that’s often. Appliance parts pros video and YouTube videos really helped. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
Edward L Woodinville , WA March 20, 2020 Appliance: Frigidaire Dryer AEQ8700FE0 Dryer made buzzing noise, drum didn't turn. My Frigidaire Affinity dryer made buzzing noise and drum didn't turn, when the start button was pushed. Spun the drum while holding start button and dryer started. Internet search indicated the dryer motor was going to fail soon. Ordered new motor from your company. Motor arrived promptly. Unfortunately, I couldn't remove the blower housing from the old motor. The plastic hex on the blower wheel stripped, when I tried to turn it with a socket. The blower wheel is poorly designed. The plastic hex should be a hexagon metal cap. I ordered a new Blower Housing Assembly Part #:AP2107606 (131775600) from your company. It also arrived promptly. I installed the new motor and blower assembly in the dryer. Total fix about $247, including tax, freight and a new dryer vent. Dryer works great. My guess is that this would have cost $500-$600 for a serviceman to fix. The dryer repair was also a good opportunity to fully clean the inside of the dryer, which was covered in lint. In some places lint was caked in the dryer airflow circuit. The videos on your website and on other internet sites were helpful, but there are significant differences between the standard Frigidaire dryer and my Affinity model. Luckily, I found a detailed installation and repair manual for my unit on the internet. Thank you for your accurate part info on your website, good price, and prompt and accurate delivery.
