How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3969435 / 316490001 Probe

Checked The Probe with Test Meter and showed no Resistance mearement. Regularly One thousand to One thousand five hundred. 

The website was very helpful, I ordered the part and got it the next day, lighting fast shipping, was able to change out the part and the double oven was working again ! Just in time for the holiday cooking ! 

New sensor and baking element. Had to use the old sensor connector. New connector was incorrect. 

Replaced the temperature probe. Connector did not match up with the one on the stove so had to splice the wires in. Splicing the wires took longer than replacing the probe. 

Replace the temperature probe. 

Ordered a new temperature probe and installed it. 

Replaced heat sensor, which arrived in one day! 

After finding this website I ordered the right probe and replaced the old one. Very easy. Took maybe 5 minutes. Just glad I found this website. I could not find the part anywhere else. 

Measured the resistance of the oven sensor, which was way out of spec. Ordered new sensor. Replacement was mostly easy except the electrical connector needed to be replaced which was not what I would have liked. Other wise the remove and install of the sensor only took 15 minutes. 

I ordered a new thermostat probe which came extremely fast. I ordered late in the day and shipment came the next morning, installed the product and it works great!
