The refrigerator ice maker had been leaking a little for years and finally the ice dispenser cracked and was making a terrible noise also the door gasket was split

I replaced the ice maker entirely, and replaced the ice crusher housing in the dispenser. I also replaced the refrigerator door gasket. I was impressed with how the gasket was shipped. It was wrapped in cardboard full size so it wasn't bent or folded. Other suppliers fold them for shipping so you have to spend time flattening them out. This one popped right in.

My icemaker was not producing ice the motor would run but none of the functions would work: no water came out and the arm would raise a little then fall back

I ordered a new icemaker assembly, which was delivered by the stated date. Installation was easy as it took about 15 to 20 minutes to remove the old and install the new, and new ice started falling within a few hours.

Automatic ice maker not dumping ice.

Watched the video and followed the instructions. Tugged the ice cream shelf out and removed the ice bin. Loosened 2 hex-head screws, lifted the icemaker out to expose the wiring harness, and disconnected the wiring harness clip to remove the old icemaker. Swapped the bottom plastic shield from the old to the new, attached the wiring harness clip, hung the icemaker on the screws and tightened. Pressed the on switch and reinstalled the bin and shelf. Very easy removal and installation. 24 hours later and the bin was full of ice. It was so easy, the most difficult part was installing the included plastic flap on the "ice bin full" sensor arm.

The tray heater in the icemaker was no longer working so ice would not get released from the icemaker.

Ordered a new icemaker, and installed it. Design is simple - held in place with 2 screws that are easily accessible with a 1/4 inch nut driver. It takes a little maneuvering to get the unit to clear the water inlet tube, and the tabs on the electrical connector have to be pushed and wiggled a bit to get that to release, but anyone can do this repair.
