How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4299334 / 5303918344 Icemaker Assembly

Having previously watched a repairman replace the ice maker, I decided to try it myself. Replacement from AppliancePartsPros.com worked perfectly. 

Replaced with a new ice maker. 

Ordered a new Icemaker Assembly. I decided to go ahead and change out the Water Valves while I was into it. I ordered the parts in the afternoon and received them the next day. Outstanding turnaround time. I won’t consider using anyone else but AppliancesPartsPros.com. Thanks so much!!! 

Ordered a new Icemaker Assembly kit. The old icemaker started working so saving the kit for later. Thank you 

Simple removal with 1/4 in socket. 

Ordered the wrong one from APP—the internet is wonderful but it can give bad info. Next APP order I will double check with model number. But called them and they shipped the right one lightning fast and gave an RMA for the old one. The right ice maker is working fine. This was handled very professionally. Highly recommend APP. 

Replaced the ice maker. 

Put in a new one. 

Replaced the ice maker arm by following the video. (2 screws and unplugging control cord assembly) 

Although the ice maker turned out not to be the problem. It was making noises and probably would have failed eventually. The video helped me through the repair. The ice maker works great and was an easy install.
