I had repaired my icemaker using the cheapest part I could find on eBay. Turns out that is not a good strategy, because only a few months later, the cheap reproduction part would still produce ice, but also leaked a LOT. So for this repair, I was searching for an OEM replacement part. The replacement procedure is extremely simple - slide out the shelf/cover over the icemaker, slide out the ice tray, loosen two retaining bolts (1/4" nut-driver or a socket is all that is needed), lift out the old assembly, disconnect the Molex connector behind it, then reverse everything to install the new assembly. Press and hold the on switch for about 20 seconds to cycle it one time, and within about 1 1/2 hours, it was dumping ice. The whole process was well under 5 minutes, and I'm just a relatively handy guy, not a pro by any means.
