How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4303282 / WH13X10029 2 In 3 Out Water Valv

Replaced water valve assembly solenoids weren't opening up to fill basket 

I started cloth diapers and a week later my washer decided to stop working. Every ten minutes, it would pause and the door would unlock. After checking the error codes (E22) and researching online, it was down to the pressure hose or the water intake valve. We checked the hose - no issues. So we decided to order the part. We installed it and after a very stressful run through, the washer is fixed! So beyond happy, I can't even begin to describe it. Thank you!!! 

We ordered the 2 in 3 out water valve. We took the screws out of the top of the waher, lifted it off, ther was the valve. Unpluged it put the new one back in plugged it in put the top back down put the screws back in and it was all done. Doing everything i just stated took about 15 minutes. Very easy to do. 

Replaced the 2 in 3 out water valve. 

Did a live chat with one of your rep. And she recommended to have the inlet valve replaced. Got the part in two days and changed it and washer works perfect. Wife is very happy and amazed that I did it myself and made me my lovely coffee cheesecake. Iam a keeper lol. 

After following the helpful links related to this problem, and watching a couple of repair videos from this site, I was able to easily remove the suspect valve and test it. I found that corrosion in my water pipes had caused the cold inlet on the valve to fail. I tested this with and multi-meter as per the videos, and since it was not just clogged but dead, I reordered a new one on Saturday evening. The new valve showed up on my door on Tuesday morning using normal shipping, and it was easily installed that evening! It works great, and was a great deal! Thanks Appliance Parts Pros! 

After finding others with the same error codes I received on my GE front load washer, I order this part. After about 15 minutes of work (just removing the top piece and removing the dead water valves) I had a working washer. 

First I took the bottom peice off the front of the washer to be able to see where the leak was coming from. We were able to use the washer while it was leaking so I knew the problem wasn't coming from the basket. The bottom pan had about a half inch of water sitting in it. I cleaned that up and then was able to see the drip coming from the top back left corner. I proceeded to take the top panle of the washer off. I turned off the water and took the hoses off thinking I could just clean out the ariators inside the valve. They had a ton of rust in them from my old steel pipes. I put it back together and it was still leaking. I finally saw that the water was coming out from in between the white plastic piece and the grey electrical piece of the 2 in 3 out valve. I decided then to order the part. I was a little shocked how expensive the part was because my washer is only 4 years old. I installed the new part the day it came and was happy to be able to do laundary again after a week.... It was rather easy to take apart and install.
