How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3203248 / WR17X11459 Drive Cup

I watched the video provided for my repair and stopped it during key stages of disassembly and restarted the video for the next step, worked like a dream. I'm sure it took me longer than the guy that made the video, but I got the job done and saved a house call repair time and the cost of an expensive part! Great video by the way! Thanks, Mike D. 

Followed the instructions on the video on the Appliancepartspros.com site. Very easy to follow. Took about 15 minutes to do (not sure why others had difficulty). 

The how to video was awesome, step by step instructions and if you don't get something you can go over as many times as you want. Very helpful, I'm an Appliance Pro now! 

Followed the excellent videos attached to each part. I had previously replaced the water tank when it had a terrible odor, so already knew how to remove water lines from valve and connectors. Water valve and ice machine fill line took me about 20 minutes. Hardest was when I pulled the old fill line out, the plastic nozzle was stuck in the freezer compartment. Had to work around it with a small screwdriver and pull out with long nose pliers. Maybe I didn't allow the freezer to warm up enough and it was still a bit frozen. Helix wheel was a quick repair...just forgot the washer and e-clip and remembered it after I snapped it together. Replaced the drive cup while it was apart as the original was showing a bit worn on the edges. All done in under an hour and works like new. Saved me a trip to the appliance store as the wife thought this was an excuse for a new refrig.

Located broken part holding motor that turned screw drive that delivers ice to the dispenser. Ordered parts and they were here the very next day. The process could not have been any easier. I will definitely order from you for any future repairs. 

We looked up the part on Appliance Parts Pros and found the exact part with a video on how to change it. We had a little difficulty but did manage to get it changed and the ice maker is like new. Got the part in about 24 hours. I will always check on parts with them.
