First the ice maker bin overflowed with ice and somehow a piece of ice fell into the fan and broke one of the three fan blades, when I removed the ice bin it was over full and the drive cup for the auger was cracked and missing part of it. after I received the parts I had to empty the freezer and remove all the shelves, supports and rear panels of the freezer to replace the broken fan blade and reinstall everything.this took about 2 hours. then I took the ice bin apart to replace the rear drive cup on the auger. that was easy. also I replaced the freezer light bulbs.this job is not for the average person! I was a A/C/R Tech.for 45 years so I did not have to call a repairman.
The Refrigerator was a GE side by side
