The top bearing slide was no good it was broken 3 placesall for the bearings lights were gone it was squeaking so bad that we couldn't turn it on anymore even the dogs ran from it

YouTube video of squeaky dryer tell me what it could be Tekkit part that was the problem order the part from you guys fixed it runs great now quiet I still think I might need the bottom part though but that's a lot of money

Worn housing and slides

Squeaking noise

Removing the front panel changing the bearing drum wupport and slides, installed the felt trap It didint take more than 20 minutes in total!!

Loud squeling while drying

We reviewed an online video on how to remove parts to check the drum support bearing. We completed this with ease and located the bad drum support. We ordered the part. It only took 2 days to get here. Then we replaced it with ease.

Two bearing slides had wore down to the drum support bearing which caused the drum support bearing to wear down severly

I replaced the worn parts.

Ge profile dryer drum support bearing causing loud screaching noises and eating/tearing up clothes

I did not realize this dryer had wear out parts. The Bearing Slides need to be replaced occasionally. I takes someone removing the front panel to view the slides for wear. We didn't find this out until the main Drum Support Bearing wore down to the point of loud screaching driving us out of the house when we used the dryer. Thanks to AppliancePartsPros.com I was able to look at the parts list to view what the Drum Support Bearing was supposed to look like, because the worn piece was to damaged. I was able to then make a shopping list based on the diagrams offered by AppliancePartsPros.com.
