How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2042752 / WE4X692 Dual Coil

Found a how to repair site on the web. Identified likely cause. Found a schematic on the manufacturer's site and got parts numbers. Plugged into your site and ordered for 24 hour delivery. Received parts, installed, it worked. 

After removing the front and top panels, it was an easy fix because the coils were in the front on the right side just above the drum. just lifted the drum (didn't need to take the belt off) and unscrewed the top bracket, replaced the coils & put it all back together. took me half an hour! easy fix and saved myself loads of money! 

I watched a short Utube video on how to take the dryer apart. The parts from appliancepartspros.com were just what it needed. In 45 minutes the unit was taken apart and put back together and drying clothes again. Just a note I ordered the parts on Christmas eve and they shipped them the day after Christmas. All I can say is AWESOME!!!!! 

I changed the 2 coils first thinking that was the problem and it was not. The problem was still there so in checking the vent outside I found that there was a screen inside under the flap. I removed it and it works just fine. Probably the worst part about changing the coils was trying to figure out how to access the area,ha,ha. Your service was great had the part the next day, about 24 hours after ordering. Thanks a lot you are in my favorites if I jhneed any more parts. Thanks again
