How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4344395 / WB30T10130 Haliant Element

A quick fix once the part arrived. Marked replacement part with a magic marker to line up exactly where to place it, unhooked electrical connections and reconnected. Works like new. 

Ordered replacement burner 

Replaced it with new GE part. 

Purchased new Haliant Element, removed old element and installed the new one. I received the new element in less than 2 days which was outstanding. 

Ordered part, received part, replaced part. Unplugged the range, carefully raised the cooktop, disconnected the wires from the element, unsnapped retaining clips and removed bad element. Reversed the order to replace. FYI: take pics or video to be sure of position of wires. The element pan is numbered around the perimeter. Note the clip /number relationship. Easy-peasy ... 

Removed stove top and replaced the defective burner. 

I purchased the new element and installed it. Very easy to install. 

Ordered and replaced it myself. 

Replaced with new dual haliant burner. 

Replaced the burner element with OEM part and all is good.
