How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4345739 / WB30T10133 Element Radiant 9 Dual

I first went to a BIG name home improvement store. I asked an employee there in the appliance center if I could order a replacement I was told that I would have to replace the whole stove top for about 300 some dollars. I then looked on the internet and found you guys. I compared prices including Sears and GE the manufacturer. Needless to say for various reasons (disappointments) this business got my money. Wise investment. I got the part that was broke, not a whole stove, I paid what I thought was reasonable. The best part is it arrived at my home in 1.5 days. Thank You, APP.Com

Checked each burner and found that the Dual Radiant Element was not working, so decided to replace it. Looked online and found a video which showed how easy it would be and found that AppliancePartsPros offered a good price and ordered with standard shipping. The replacement element arrived early the next day and I completed the job in less than 30 minutes. I had a little trouble with one of the electrical connectors being tight and making sure I was careful. Burner element working perfectly now. 

After pulling the stove out, hardest part of the job, I removed the front panel with the knobs, disconnected several wiring harnesses, plug-ins, you don't need to remove every wire. I unplugged the ones I could and the rest I left attached and rested the panel on an oven rack. I then, removed the 2 front screws holding the cook top and slid the cooktop assembly forward and out. I placed the cooktop upside down on my table, which was covered with a towel. I then removed the metal covering which exposed the four elements. Once the elements were exposed, it was very easy replacing it with the new one. 

With a new burner part. 

Google the model of the range and found this site which also got the best price. Open the top glass and replace the burner (there is a few screws in the rear but most of the screws are in front. Remove the 4 plastic knobs and remove the glass you will see about 10 screws that use to attach the top glass) Make sure take picture or take the wire out 1 by 1 so you don't misplace the wires. Reinstall the glass and the screws back. It should take about 20 minute max. 

I looked online to see what the issue could be on YouTube. I found out that replacing the elements was one possibility to fix it. I opened the stove took pictures and took out the radiant element to find out on the inside they had been burned. This solidified the issue. I ordered them right away and it worked! No need to call a repairman! 

Ordered the part. Remove old and replaced new worked fine......+++ 

Put in a new element. 

Bought a new one and put it in.
