Sally U Conroe , TX July 20, 2022 GE wall oven control panel overlay had bubbled up and cracked when using the push buttons. Looked for a replacement overlay for the GE model and found one that matched the model number. I ordered and although it was not as long as the control panel it did cover all the push button settings and clock window. The GE wall oven is 15 years old and the only issue was the thin plastic overlay that was put on these ovens by GE. The oven works great but the control panel is a different story, the oven control panel has been replaced three times in 15 years. Deepak S Frisco , TX December 26, 2019 Appliance: General Electric Electric Oven JTP30BM2BB Face plate had pealed off Got the replacement faceplate ( nothing but a peal and stick faceplate). Cleaned the oven face and removed any old adhesive from the buttons. Peel the backing and stick the faceplate. It looked ok on an older oven ( which is not retrofitted ). Not an exact replacement part but does the job. The buttons align 90%. Cheaper and easy fix if you can compromise the end result a bit. Bob L Clovis , NM March 04, 2019 Cracked buttons on faceplate This sticker was not the size that I needed, but they don't make the 17". It still fit over the buttons perfectly and did the job. I didn't realize the size difference when ordering since it looked exactly the same. Read More... 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
Frank T Plant City , FL June 24, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Wall Oven JKP30SP1SS The model i had there was a problem with the key pad bubbling up from the oven heat I called appliance Parts pro and they said the replacement part was no longer available but there was a retrofit part to fix the problem. The staff at APP help me get the retrofit parts. Installation was very easy. I took some pictures of the old wiring, really didn't need to cause everything was color coded. Saved so much doing it myself. Highly recommend APP. I posted the site in my office since we do plumbing and many times we are asked to fix appliances. Thanks again to everyone.
