How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP6278228 / WR60X26866 Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor

Ordered parts, received them in 1 day! Easily swapped out the part after watching one quick YouTube video. 

Found that the fan was working intermittently, replaced fan all good now.

This is our recent victory story! Our refrigerator suddenly started having issues where the cool air wasn't making its way to the top of the fridge. The top portion of the refrigerator was not cooling. Went online and followed the recommended solutions to the problem and found the problem. I ordered the evaporator fan motor and the problem was fixed. The part arrived within two days. Thanks. 

Replaced the motor after watching the video. Took time but got the job done. The refrigerator has never run so quiet. From the begining it ran noisy. I called out for a service call and was told that was how they sounded. I realized now we had a problem from the start!!!

We searched and found the evaporator fan motor may have been bad. We bought the part here and replaced it. The hardest part was cleaning out the fridge the instructional video was very helpful and accurate!

I found the part here and followed the video that accompanied it. Even though my fridge was a slightly different model than in the video it was close enough to follow. I bought the tools suggested and followed step by step, adjusting where needed. It’s back up and running and cooling evenly again!
