Robert A Oak Park , IL February 28, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Microwave HVM1540DN1BB Grill broke from a renter I removed the old grill, since it was cracked and dirty. I just simply removed the screws from the top of the microwave and remove the old grill. The new grill was easy as just lining up all the tabs and popped in the new grill. When putting in the grill, just offset the grill a little to the left, and shift it right so the plastic hooks lock in. Please note that the new grill does not come with screws. Thank goodness I still had the screws from the original piece as there weren't any with the grill and I didn't think to order them. It took a few minutes since some of the broken plastic was stuck in the slots where the grill hooks into. It was a very easy fix. The piece can very quickly, in a day.
