First I went to appliancepartspros.com. Typed in the model number of the Refrigerator. Found the part number for the ice maker. Next (and this is too simple) watched the video on how to change out ice makers. Ordered part. It arrived the next day. Took 4 minutes to install. (yes, make sure to turn the power off). Two months of frustration with the old ice maker resolved in less than 48 hours by using appliancepartspros.com Too simple... 

Looked on line and viewed all other comments by other users. Watched video and ordered my replacement ice maker. Got part in less than 2 days and it took literally 8 minutes to replace it. Ordered on Friday, had it on Saturday. From the time I unplugged the refrigerator, installed the new unit, and plugged it back in, the total installation time was 2 minutes and 25 seconds. Immediately started working, and continues to work like a champ. I saved HUNDREDS of dollars by not calling a repairman and by doing it myself. 

The ice stripped (white plastic part that pulls the frozen cubes off the ice maker) broke and was dumping plastic into my ice dispenser. Unfortunately, you can't buy the piece itself, so I had to buy a whole new ice maker. I called a couple of local appliance places who all wanted ~$100 just to come out. I was skeptical about buying from here and doing it myself, but after watching the video I ordered. I ordered the part thursday night and it was at my door by noon on Saturday. Took me 15 minutes to install with a screwdriver and it was making ice by that night. Saved myself a nice chunk of change. I would absolutely buy from APP again.
