How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2029997 / WB36X10003 Light Bulb

Ordered new part 

Replaced light bulb socket and light bulbs. 

Ordered OEM bulbs from ApplliancePartsPros.com .... replaced bulbs 

Unscrewed old one put in new ones 

Watched how-to videos on appliance parts pros website. Much easier than expected. Will definitely be using this website for other projects.

Replaced bulb. This bulb cost $17 10 years ago at a brick and mortar. 

Single philips screw to release cover, then screw out bulb and replace with new one. Very trivial. Replacing the magnetron and one of the door switches earlier was more challenging but still worked; the oven is going on 25 years and with the new parts still working great. Repair is a lot nicer to the planet than replace in most contexts. 

Replaced both overhead bulbs. 

Unscrewed the screw that held the door to the buld and twisted the old bulb out and put the new one in. Piece of cake! I also want to state that this company has the fastest turn around time in the world!!!! Order the bulb at 3:00ish on Tuesday from Massachusetts and it was delivered at my door at 9:00 on Wednesday from Kentucky.....
