The broiler worked, but the oven did not. Since the igniter on the oven did not glow orange, I determined that was the problem.
It was simple enough to replace the igniter. Just follow the instructions as explained in the video.
Upon testing though, the burner did not immediately light. When it finally did, it was with a loud bang or whoosh!
A previous repair (not mine) had fastened the igniter slightly closer to the burner using only one of the two mounting screws. Being clever, I returned it to the original position using both screws. I suspected this might have been the cause of the delayed lighting and bang. When I returned the igniter to the single-screw position, it worked perfectly,
FYI, it takes a full 35 seconds for the burner to light.
