How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4324598 / WH23X10028 Drain Pump Assembly

I replaced the drain pump and assembley. 

I put in new pump. 

Replaced pump. Easy fix. Three screws for the access panel. Open the drain valve. Disconnect two wires. Disconnect two hoses. Remove the two pump mounting screws. Replace the pump. 

Cleaning the filter didn't fix it so I replaced the drain pump assembly. Works properly now. 

Replaced water pump 

We cleared the drain lines first, and snaked the plumbing system to see if there were any clogs, to see if this was causing the draining issue. We ran another load, and the washer still would not drain. On your website, it showed with pictures, if water wouldn't drain, replacing the drain pump would solve issue. We watched video on how to install drain pump. We ordered the part Saturday, August 6th, and part arrived August 9th. We installed the new drain pump within 20 minutes. Washer works great! 

I replaced the pump. This was the second time so I was a pro. The problem was due to the amount of water remaining in the washer, the fact that the pump is all the way at the floor level and I had great difficulty getting the hose clamps repositioned properly -- I could not on one and had to add a zip tie too. 

Replaced the drain pump and balanced the washer. Took longer to balance than to change the pump out and now the washer works better than ever. Thanks for the speedy shipping.
