How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2059046 / WR2X7054 Push-On Nut

Installed new pump shaft seal, and new inlet valve. 

New seal around the drain solenoid shaft. 

My wife researched the problem through Google. The problem was diagnosed online as a leaking shaft seal. Your website not only had easy to find parts numbers but a how-to video on the same page. Replaced inlet sump and shaft seal. 

Using Appliance Parts Pros U-tube as reference was able to locate source of water leak. Following directions to replace shaft seal I ordered the parts needed and made the repair. Today, no more water leak.Thanks to you guys For only a total of $31.15, I did not have to fork out a large amount of money for a new dishwasher. 

Replaced shaft seal and push on nut as per your video. 

I took the front kickplates off of the machine and saw the leak, rust and hard water deposits all over the solenoid and springs. I figured it was the shaft seal and push on nut causing the leak since the nut was so rusted. Given the solenoid assembly was also covered in rust and hard water deposits from being leaked on I replaced that too. The only problem I had was removing the old corroded parts and putting the new e clip back in place.

Opened the bottom to see and turned it on to see water coming out around some sort of switch. I used the model number to find a parts diagram and figured out it was the seal around the drain valve activating lever. It to one tiny rubber gasket and one small metal push nut on washer. I found a youtube video which demonstrated the repair. Done in 10 minutes and no more leaks. I had company coming in 3 days and Appliancepartspro had it there in 2 by internet order! Thanks again!! 

Saw rusty water on the floor. Removed bottom panel of dishwasher and saw water dripping from the bottom center of the dishwasher. After watching repair videos, I discovered that it was coming from the bottom of the motor and was due to a worn out shaft seal. I was able to replace the shaft seal without turning my dishwasher upside down, which greatly reduced the time. The video instructions are correct and if you follow them, you should have luck.
