How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4484666 / WD12X10304 Dishwasher Rack Slide End Cap

Ordered parts, arrived in 2 days w/ standard shipping, snapped new ones on 

I had crimped the metal slides to keep the rack from coming all the way out since the rack slide end caps had broken off and I did not have time to replace them. The dishrack roller axles broke so that the end pieces that hold the wheels on were gone. This meant the wheel stayed in the metal slide but the axle easily slid out causing the rack to fall. I replaced all four axles (two were broken) and the front two end caps (after reshaping the metal slides) with the Genuine GE parts I received. The parts looked a bit different than the original ones but worked just fine. The hardest part was reshaping the metal slides. I would strongly recommend replacing the end caps and not crimping the slide ends.

After a long search across many sites, found "AppliancePartsPros.com", where I easily found the model number of my dishwasher, appropriate parts, and a how-to video. Played the video as I swapped out the parts. Kept us from having to acquire a new dishwasher, so many thanks! Bookmarked the site and kept the emails so I can easily find "AppliancePartsPros.com" again. 

The old stopper on the top shelf rack (thing that stops the top shelf rack coming our crashing our of dish washer) of my GE dish washer broke and when I try to take out the other one, it broke as well (very poorly designed). When searching online, found out that the part design has changed. I was a bit skeptical to order the new designed part but took a chance and it's a much better design. The part came very quick (like couple of days), Out the box, quick click snap (few seconds) and done. Very happy with the part and specially with Appliance Parts Pros. 

I installed four new wheels and two new end caps. 

Ordered received and replaced axles and wheels. Wife is now happy!

After looking up the model number on my washer, I was able to locate the part that was needed to repair my washer. The online diagrams and information gave me the information I needed to determine what part I needed. They also provide a video showing you how to remove the broken parts and how to replace them. I ordered my parts around 4 pm on one day and Fed-ex delivered my parts to me by 12 noon the following day.
