How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4484666 / WD12X10304 Rack Slide End Cap

Replaced end caps and slides on the upper rack. 5 minutes. Works fine. 

I replaced the dishwasher racks. 

I decided to watch a video, to see how easy it was to replace the dispenser...and (after viewing) I was sure I could do it! I ordered a replacement part, which arrived VERY quickly. I had the new one installed in less than 15 minutes! Our dishwasher is working great again!!! Thank you so much! 

I ordered the track clip from your company and it snapped in place and it's now fixed. Thank you, the track was without the clip for a few months- until I Googled it and found your company, that is. I verified the parts fit my model, ordered them after watching the video. I’m color blind so the stills of the parts are very hard to differentiate and assess. But in the video I could see and confirm. What I should’ve done is check the “unaffected” cap. I had ordered just one but the “good” one was actually broken and bound up so it appeared to still function. Had to order a second cap and pay shipping again. Lesson learned. Repair was super easy though, just need the second cap and finished. 

Replaced the water inlet valve. 

Put the new part in and it works great. 

I ordered the parts which arrived within 2 days and installed in a few minutes. great service. The only complaint i have is the cost of shipping? how does one justify $7 on a pkg weighing a few ounces? 

Ordered appropriate part online with model and serial numbers 

Ordered a set of replacement rollers from Appliance parts. Delivery was problematic. I received notice from Fed-X that the parts had been delivered Saturday at 10:30 a.m., but they had not. Called Fed-X and after some run-around I was told I would have to contact the shipper. I called Appliance Parts Pros and the service rep was very helpful. She said they would re-send. Later that morning I checked my mailbox and found the envelope with my dishwasher parts. Called back to APP and said never mind! Installation of the parts was easier than delivery. Only issue was that the new style end stops were not initially very secure. However, after I re-shaped the rail a bit with my pliers, they were secure enough to stop the rack against fairly hard stops. I'm very happy with the final result. Much cheaper than a new dishwasher.
